SBI General Insurance SME Awards recognizes and rewards the contribution of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) towards Indian economy through exceptional business achievements.
By producing quality products and providing quality services coupled with exceptional management practices, the SMEs in India have grown vastly over the past few years. This award also recognizes the innovative business ideas by SMEs which have led to successful business ventures, thus empowering women and youth and also creating multiple job opportunities.

Participants log in on the awards website to send in their entries
Due diligence is conducted on all the entries received based on the eligibility criteria mentioned as per the awards rules and regulations
Shortlisting of finalists in each category based on the financial data submitted
Jury evaluation process based on the case study questions for qualitative review
Jury scores each finalist on pre-defined parameters
Winners are announced in all the categories
The participating organization should be solely registered in India as a proprietorship, partnership, public company, private company, HUF or trust SMEs.
Participating organization must have completed at least 2 years of office and business operations in India as on October 31, 2019.
Small and medium manufacturing and service enterprises earning annual turnover between INR. 50 crores to INR. 250 Crore* as on March 31, 2019
Participants are permitted to apply across various categories for different projects. A separate form is to be used for every unique application.
An organization is only entitled to participate in support of itself, and no other entity.
More than one application is also permitted if the applications are for different projects. Please use a separate form for each project.
An organization cannot participate on behalf of its sister units, parent organization or other organizations under the parent organization
Employees and immediate family members of the Awards Management, sponsors and partners of the Awards are not allowed to participate
Participation in the SME Awards, 2019 is subject to defined terms and conditions available on the website www.sbigeneralsmeawards.com
The Award categories may be changed / modified / split / merged / increased or cancelled by the Awards Management and / or Jury based on the number of entries received in any category, and the quality of the entries. The decision in this regard will be final, non-contestable and binding on all participants. The Awards management will not entertain any queries in this regard
